Where a flight, hotel or other third-party service is accessed through an affiliate link such as Travelpayouts, the third party that completes that transaction will process data under its own privacy policy.

3. Information We Collect

Depending on the service and booking requirements, we may collect:

your name;

phone number and/or WhatsApp contact;

email address when provided or required for a particular communication;

age or age category where required for pricing, eligibility or safety;

country or nationality where required for a booking or activity;

hotel, accommodation or pickup information;

booking details, including the selected activity, date, guest numbers, payment method and booking status;

messages or information you provide when contacting customer support;

review and rating information submitted after an eligible completed booking; and

basic technical information generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser/device information and security or server logs, where collected by WordPress, hosting, security or essential website systems.

We do not intend to collect information that is not necessary for the booking or requested service. Additional information may be required for a specific activity where safety, legal, operational or provider requirements make it necessary; this should be explained in the relevant activity information.

4. Why We Use Personal Data

We use personal data primarily to:

create, confirm and administer bookings;

communicate booking details, changes, pickup arrangements and operational information;

provide customer support before, during and after an activity;

share the information necessary for an approved Partner or service provider to perform the booked activity;

process or verify the payment method selected for a booking;

handle cancellations, refunds, complaints and disputes;

maintain booking and transaction records where reasonably required;

protect the website and bookings against fraud, abuse or security incidents;

comply with applicable legal obligations; and

invite eligible customers to submit a genuine review after a completed booking.

We do not currently use booking contact information for newsletters, unsolicited promotional messages, behavioural advertising or direct marketing campaigns.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis depends on the purpose. Booking and customer-service information is generally processed because it is necessary to take steps requested by you or to perform the booking or service contract. Certain records may be processed to comply with legal obligations. Security, fraud prevention, platform administration and the handling of legitimate business records may rely on legitimate interests where those interests do not override your rights. Where consent is legally required, such as for certain non-essential cookies or another optional use, we will seek consent before that processing.

6. Sharing Data with Tour Operators and Partners

Red Sea Paradise operates a multi-vendor model. A booking may be fulfilled directly by Red Sea Paradise or by an approved tourism Partner. When a Partner is responsible for the activity, we may provide that Partner only with information reasonably necessary to operate the booking, such as customer name, contact details, guest information, pickup details, date and relevant booking instructions.

Partners must use booking data for the relevant service and legitimate operational requirements. They must not use customer booking data received from Red Sea Paradise for unrelated marketing without an independent lawful basis.

7. Other Service Providers

Personal data may also be processed by providers that support the operation of the website and booking service, such as website hosting, email delivery, security, technical support, payment or communication services. We aim to limit access to what is necessary for the relevant function.

External services reached through affiliate links, including Travelpayouts-related flight or hotel booking services, are separate services. When you leave Red Sea Paradise and complete a transaction with such a provider, its own terms and privacy policy apply.

8. International Data Processing

Red Sea Paradise operates from Egypt and tourism Partners may also be located in Egypt. Therefore, information submitted by customers in the European Economic Area may be processed outside the EEA when necessary to administer and perform a booking. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will take appropriate steps relevant to the nature of the processing and the parties involved.

9. Payments

Available payment methods may include payment on arrival and locally supported transfer methods such as InstaPay or mobile wallet transfer. We do not ask customers to submit full payment-card details through ordinary booking fields, email or WhatsApp. If an external payment gateway is introduced, payment-card information should be processed by the relevant payment provider under its own security and privacy arrangements rather than stored by Red Sea Paradise unless expressly stated otherwise.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including completing the booking, providing support, resolving complaints and meeting applicable accounting, legal or dispute-resolution requirements. Different records may therefore have different retention periods. When information is no longer reasonably required, it should be deleted, anonymised or otherwise securely disposed of where practicable.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse. Access to booking information should be limited to Red Sea Paradise personnel, approved Partners and service providers who need the information for their role. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for core functions such as sessions, security, preferences and booking functionality. Non-essential analytics, advertising or similar tracking technologies, where used, should be handled in accordance with applicable consent requirements. Further details will be provided in our Cookie Policy and, where applicable, through the site’s cookie-consent controls.

13. Reviews

Red Sea Paradise intends to request reviews only in connection with completed bookings. If you submit a review, the review and the display name or other information you choose to make public may be shown on the website. Booking and private contact information will not be intentionally published as part of a review.

14. Children and Booking Age

A person making a booking through Red Sea Paradise must be at least 18 years old. Information about children travelling as guests may still be required where relevant to pricing, eligibility or safety. Such information should be limited to what is necessary for the activity.

15. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, including the GDPR where applicable, you may have rights to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion in qualifying circumstances, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for future processing.

You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. Exercising a privacy right does not affect data processing that was lawfully carried out before the request or information we are legally required to retain.

16. How to Make a Privacy Request

For privacy questions or to exercise an applicable data protection right, contact info@redseaparadise.com. To protect customer information, we may need to verify that the person making a request is the customer or is authorised to act for them before disclosing or changing personal data.

17. No Automated Profiling for Marketing

Red Sea Paradise does not currently use customer booking data for automated marketing profiling or solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on customers.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform, technology, Partners or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its latest revision date. Material changes affecting how customer information is used should be communicated in an appropriate manner.

19.
